BitTorrent v1.2 is now released with improvements in its sync speed and it has also released new app for iPAd. Sync API is in developer mode and the developers can create apps on it as the platform. BitTorrent claims that it will be Cloud free Sync and it also adds it will be your own private, secure and unlimited cloud storage platform.
BitTorrent Sync v1.2 has features with improvements in file transfer speed by 20 times as compared to its previous version. It claims it can sync 10GB file in less than 2mins of time and it mandatory to have such speed.
Sync app for iOS has been updated to new look, improvement in connection speed and a native iPad app. Improved features also added now you can sync your file with other app and send files from other app using sync and it also has an option to save sync file directly on the camera roll.
BitTorrent Sync Beta API "will allow developers to create distributed social media, communications, and enterprise apps on top of the platform" said in the BitTorrent Blog. It is also designed to work on all platform such as Linux, Windows and MAC. API allow the developers to decide whether to sync the entire folder or a specific file in a folder and it has also added an option to integrate app without using the default UI.
