World of Warships is an online multiplayer based action war game developed by Lesta Studio and Wargaming.net. The game is scheduled its release in 2014. The game is initially named as World of Battleships and later the name is changed. The game is similar to the World of Tanks and World of Warplanes which will have different map with different condition with different nations. The game is now in the Alpha Testing phase as announced by the developers. 

World of Warships consist of different nation fleets such as American, Japan, British, Italian, German, French and Soviet Navies. The gameplay will held in the oceans of Pacific, Atlantic and Artic regions with different map and different weather conditions and each map has its own game flow. In the alpha phase the American and Japanese fleets are only included later other fleets will be added announced by the developers. 

World of Warships will have light cruisers, heavy cruisers, battleships, aircraft carriers, destroyers, and battle cruisers. These may be either real ships are the prototype model of the various nation navies.
