Windows 8 Downgrading Error

When you try to reinstall windows 8 or you try to downgrade to windows 7 you may find some error such as " UEF1 DVD1 PATH1(HL-DT-ST DVD+/-RW GU70N) " and this block you from reinstall windows. Here is the solution for your problem and this will help you to downgrade windows using installation disc or through bootable usb devices.

Windows 8 comes with a security feature that it blocks boot or installation disc to protect itself. It is mostly comes with the system that has certified windows 8. It is done with the help of UEFI. Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) it acts as an interface between firmware and the operating system. It makes the windows 8 to have the ability to detect rootkit and block it.

To boot the system from a bootable drive or from a DVD you need to change the BIOS settings to default as other system. To change the settings during the system boot go to BIOS settings and you can find UEFI and change it to Load optimal default. Once you change the settings you can able to reinstall the windows 8 or you can downgrade the windows to its lower versions using bootable or with DVD's.
