We often have a questions in our mind actually what is the use of setting screensavers for our computer ? What it actually do? Here is the answers for your questions hope you would find it useful.
Actually screensavers is performing some task to make your monitor works efficiently. Its works based on the type of the of monitors you use modern LCD screen or older CRT displays. Whenever a bright, stationary image remains on the screen for an extended length of time. Usually more than a half hour, for example, phosphor burn begins to take place due to the excessive heat build up from continuous bombardment of electrons.
Modern LCD screen are immune to phosphor burn in, while the older CRT monitors are susceptible. Screensavers work by keeping the bright areas of the image from staying in one place too long. This keeps the phosphors from heating up to the point that they burn which results in reduced light output.
