Is There Internet Explorer For Linux ?

Internet explorer is the browser developed by the microsoft and it introducing lot of facility and new options day by day and many users want more IE as their browser. Many users using Linux also want IE in their Linux OS.

I wanna clear them one option, IE is an windows based browser comes with windows, they developing it for their users who using windows. There is no such versions of IE for linux. If you want some other browsers in your linux other than firefox which is default in most of Linux versions you can use google chrome(Chromium) or Opera or others browsers you can get it from the store in your linux OS.

Hope increased users and many loving IE may make Microsoft to think to develop a linux supporting browsers and it may not happen in near future. Now most of people using windows and it covered most 90% of global population and Linux is used by 1% of peoples and microsoft won't invest money for 1% of users and they won't got more in return to them.

The situation is same for mac users and they too won't get IE for them in near future. It is possible only when Mac users grow and reach the wide population more than 50% of users using computer. But their hardware is supported by its own software and its an most difficult task to reach wide community in short time, it takes more investment. Hope this information might be useful for you, Happy Computing !
